We are delighted to invite families to our 2025 Open Evening on Thursday 25 September from 17:30 to 19:30.

If you're a parent or carer based in Woodley, Reading, Earley or Lower Earley and looking for the right secondary school for your child, this is the perfect opportunity to explore The Bulmershe School.

The evening includes two Headteacher talks at 17:45 and 19:15, plus the chance to tour our friendly, inclusive school in small groups. Tours are led by our amazing student guides, who will share their honest experiences and answer any questions you may have. No advance booking is required – simply arrive at our Reception, located behind Bulmershe Leisure Centre off Woodlands Avenue.

Visitors can look forward to interactive displays across all departments, and meet our dedicated staff and happy students. Whether your child excels academically, is passionate about the arts, shows sporting prowess, or is still finding their path, Bulmershe is a school where every individual is supported to meet their full potential.

If you cannot make this date, or prefer to see the school in action, we’ll also be running Open Morning tours on 30th September, 2nd, 7th and 9th October 2025 from 9am - 10am. On these mornings you will be given a short group tour, before meeting our Headteacher for a question and answer session.
